American Traveler is hiring a CV Invasive Specialist for a Cardiac Cath Lab with ARRT or RCIS certification and 1+ years of specialty experience.

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab providing technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule
• Uses Epic for charting

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in the specialty required, 2 years Cardiology/Cath Lab experience preferred
• Registered ARRT required, or RCIS/RCES required within 18 months of hire, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV specific certification
• BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting experience preferred

• Assists physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, acting as scrub assistant and maintaining sterile conditions
• Operates imaging equipment and monitors/documents procedure images and events from the control room
• Educates patients and families on procedure expectations and pre/post procedure care
• Maintains unit cleanliness and appropriate stock levels for interventions and diagnostic procedures
• Completes documentation according to departmental standards and participates in quality and patient safety initiatives
• Radiation badges supplied by the vendor
• Returning Intermountain employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
