Industrial Maintenance Technician II (Brighton, CO, US)

Job Overview:
The Maintenance Team is responsible for supervising the maintenance of Vestas tools and equipment, conducting inspection procedures, and assisting in day‑to‑day maintenance initiatives within factory locations. Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, adjusting, and calibrating instruments and machines that manufacture turbine components.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain production machines and factory equipment.
  • Coordinate the work order process and optimize workflow.
  • Ensure completion of all work order and equipment tracking forms daily, maintain the EAM database of purchased equipment, existing equipment, and preventive maintenance schedules. Facilitate factory tool calibrations and maintain all tool calibration requirements.
  • Create requisitions in SAP for tools, equipment, new parts, instruments, and supplies.
  • Allocate the team appropriately to support timely execution of work orders.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Inspect and test shop equipment and new and repaired instruments to verify dimensions of parts and conformance to quality control standards.
  • Track process indicators and spare parts/labor consumption and equipment performance.
  • Act as the first line of communication with equipment suppliers for quotes, orders, and troubleshooting support; host suppliers on site as required.
  • Report equipment status to the Department Manager, including routine maintenance and damaged equipment for return to service estimations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Training
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience or equivalent training.
  • Strong ability to work in teams with self‑management of task timetables.
  • High adaptability and flexibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other software programs.
  • Comfortable presenting and leading in front of groups.
  • Excellent communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Prefer experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or refinery maintenance environment.
  • Experience repairing and maintaining processing equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic prints and symbols.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and sequences of operations.
  • Physical requirements:

    regularly sit, use hands and fingers, reach, talk or hear. Occasionally sit, stand, walk, and travel to remote locations.
  • Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Salary Range: $32.00–$36.00 per hour (plus $3.00 differential for night shift).
