Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2183) rting hourly rate: $18.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their needs, answer questions, and resolve concerns.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Know the tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Assist guests with Target Loyalty programs and enrollment as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain how to use features within the Target App (Wallet) and direct guests to Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering as needed.
• Handle returns with guidance from leadership and in accordance with Target policies.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; report hazards and address them where possible.
• Support guest services such as Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and related duties, complying with applicable laws and policies.
• Other duties as assigned based on business needs.

• Ability to lift/move merchandise up to 44 pounds with or without assistance; frequently lift/carry up to 10 pounds.
• Mobility required for the duration of a shift; exposure to varying temperatures and elements in certain duties.
