As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security‑related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide exceptional customer service.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Monitor access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry to the premises.
• Verify the credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors to support access control protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting actions as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security‑related incidents.
• Report any observed irregularities, including property damage, suspicious activity, or maintenance needs, to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security‑related matters specific to the commercial real estate environment.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
