Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC/R systems and hotside kitchen equipment, while upholding EPA regulations and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Install, maintain, and repair HVACR systems including air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation units.
• Install, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen hot side equipment such as fryers, ovens, griddles, grills, and food warming equipment.
• Follow EPA regulations for the conservation, recovery, and recycling of refrigerants; ensure proper handling and disposal of fluids and pressurized gases.
• Install electrical, plumbing, and refrigerant components in a wide variety of commercial equipment.
• Clean and inspect systems as part of preventative maintenance to enhance equipment performance and reduce failure risk.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of work performed using digital platforms.
• Diagnose and repair or replace worn or defective parts; conduct operational testing to confirm functionality.
• Recommend maintenance procedures or system upgrades to improve overall efficiency and performance.
• Professionally communicate with customers to explain system issues, repair options, and preventative measures.

• Experience in commercial HVAC/R service and repair and/or completed job related education
• EPA Certification required or the ability to obtain upon employment
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycle and electrical/plumbing fundamentals.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with digital record-keeping platforms and mobile service software.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
