Compensation/Salary:

Commensurate with experience and education

• Assistant Coach - $1,000-$2,900/season

• Head Coach - $2,300-$4,200/season

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience coaching high school‑aged athletes.

• Completion of the CHSAA coaching form, passing score on the CHSAA coaching test, and completion of CHSAA concussion training (more information: CHSAA Coaches Corner).

• Must pass a background check performed by the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coach student‑athletes at all levels of the girls' flag football program.

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training to promote individual and team development.

• Build a competitive and character‑driven program aligned with ERA’s core values.

• Collaborate with the Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Director, parents, and coaches to coordinate schedules and supervise transportation needs.

• Plan and host award banquets, camps, and conditioning events.

• Manage and maintain all issued equipment and uniforms.

• Maintain consistent communication with the Athletic Director regarding athlete needs, incidents, and program concerns.

• Foster strong communication with coaching staff, athletes, parents, and the broader community.

• Maintain knowledge of league and CHSAA regulations related to high school flag football.

• Support and participate in program fundraising efforts.

• Adhere to league, district, and CHSAA policies and regulations.

• Provide accurate and timely budget information to the Athletic Director.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
