Warehouse Receiving/Putaway Full Time 1st Shift
Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday–Friday
What you'll be doing:- Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator:
Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) to pick products up to 100 lbs and move them within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures. - Warehouse Porter:
Responsible for general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside the facility while operating material handling equipment. - Warehouse Replenishment:
Operate material handling equipment to pick products up to 100 lbs and move them within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures. - Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns:
Confirm product accuracy, address discrepancies, manually unload trucks, palletize products, and operate material handling equipment. - Warehouse Returns:
Match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips, check in returned products, tag appropriately, and operate material handling equipment. - Shipping:
Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets; load trucks manually; lift, lower, and carry product in a fast-paced environment.
As an SC2 associate you may be moved into any of the above roles, or SC1 roles, as needed.
This role is essential to the success of Staples Supply Chain.
What you bring to the table:- Material Handling Equipment Operator certification and ability to safely operate necessary equipment.
- Willingness to keep work area clean.
- Inclusive approach to collaborate with colleagues and customers.
- Quick adaptation to safety procedures.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen as required by law.
- Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
- If hired as a Full‑Time associate, ability to work additional hours beyond the scheduled shift; overtime may be required.
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand.
- Must wear safety composite shoes.
- Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, or cherry picker.
