Registered Nurse – Med-Surg/Telemetry Float

Location:

Brighton, MA

Shift: 12-hour AM/PM rotations (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM & 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Hours:

36 hours/week (Day/Night rotation)

Schedule:

Every other weekend with possibility to move to every 3rd weekend, every other holiday

Required Experience &

Skills:

2+ years of recent acute care experience

Meditech experience, IV skills, telemetry

Ability to adapt quickly to different units

Must independently read telemetry strips and pass on-site exam on Day 1 with an 84% or higher (2 attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience:

3–5 years previous float experience

Experience adaptable to 5 different Med-Surg/Telemetry units

EPIC experience strongly preferred

Required Certifications/Licenses:

BLS

ACLS

NIHSS

M7:
Med-Surg – Ortho, Urology, Neurology, GYN – 30 beds

6W:
Cardiology/Telemetry – 32 beds

7E:
Surgery – 30 beds

CMS6:
Cardio-Thoracic – 16 beds

Average nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5

No extended RTO; most Fridays required; no specific schedule requests
