Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0922)

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.25 USD per hour. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience, assisting guests with checklanes, guest services, and store needs, while promoting Target’s products and services.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve specific needs and assist with returns in accordance with Target policies.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Know and communicate about tools, products, and services to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Be familiar with Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain how to use Target App features (Wallet, Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering) and assist with enrollment and usage.
• Assist with order pick up (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) orders, and DU returns, ensuring compliance with policies and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and maintain a compliant work environment.
• Support guest services while complying with relevant laws (e.g., adult beverage laws where applicable).
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Accurate checkout operations and support for cash office tasks as needed.
• Safe handling and movement of merchandise, with lifting requirements up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to remain mobile for shifts of varying length and adapt to different temperatures and environments.
