Overview
Sales Floor Supervisor - Green Oak Village Pl at JCPenney
. This role is accountable for driving customer service to achieve profitable sales growth by leading and engaging associates, managing merchandise standards and execution, and developing associates to execute sales-building programs.
- Directs customer service and sales activities in store; resolves customer issues and concerns. Models and holds team accountable for outstanding customer service. Actively listens to customer issues to resolve problems. Maximizes sales and service by ensuring staff is scheduled appropriately.
- Manages merchandise standards through Put to Fixture, SET, and Visual process execution. Maintains high merchandise presentation standards, leads planning and execution of all merchandised and visual elements, including pricing and signing. Promotes company merchandise strategy and identifies local opportunities to drive sales. Oversees clean recovery standards for the sales floor and fitting room processes.
- Trains, mentors and coaches all associates on processes, including pickup location procedures and delivery/return transactions. Manages Ship from Store, Buy Online Pick Up In Store and Curbside Pickup orders within prescribed time frames. Monitors omnichannel metrics and takes action to resolve issues.
- Drives profitable sales growth in Fine Jewelry, Mattress, and Window businesses by leading and engaging associates. Oversees specialty training and care/protection plans. Manages SET processes and monitors Productivity Standards Program. Identifies sell-through opportunities and remerchandises the selling floor to increase sales. Oversees defective and return-to-vendor activities to reduce shrink in specialty areas.
- Teaches, trains and coaches associates. Partners with Managerial peers to source and hire store talent. Coaches in the moment, addresses performance issues, and promotes a culture of development. Ensures accountability for performance and maintains a One Team approach.
- Meets established performance standards including shrink and safety initiatives, omnichannel execution, scheduling efficiency, associate relations, engagement, customer service, profitability, productivity, and attendance.
