Join us for the Part-Time Housekeeping & Operations (Janitorial) role at Kohl's.
AboutThe Role
In this role, you will ensure a safe and clean environment in all areas of the store. You will perform daily store cleaning tasks effectively and efficiently, and complete operational processes as needed to provide an excellent customer experience.
What You’ll Do- Clean all areas of the store (e.g., floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Kohl's standards, procedures, guidelines, and methods.
- Utilize only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies by placing orders to replenish when low, ensuring proper storage and rotation.
- Complete and stay current with required training for chemicals, equipment, and maintenance.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance following company guidelines.
- Use Kohl's tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the store team.
- Support operations by receiving and processing products, managing stockroom operations, and assisting with omni-channel fulfillment when needed.
- Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Act with integrity, honesty, and foster teamwork in an inclusive culture.
- Exercise good judgment and discernment, consulting with partners as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, anticipating needs and resolving issues satisfactorily.
- Meet or exceed individual goals (productivity, credit, loyalty).
- Manage multiple tasks within established time frames.
- Follow company policies, procedures, standards, and safety guidelines.
- Respond proactively to directions from supervisors and managers.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- No retail experience required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in client-facing retail or service industries.
Pay starts at: $16.45/hr.
