About This Job:

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide gentle support for an elderly woman who is a cancer patient. She currently uses a walker and experiences hand tremors, making mobility and exercises challenging.

This role is ideal for someone with physical therapy experience or training — or a caregiver who is comfortable guiding light exercises and supporting safe mobility.

• Location: Brighton, New York, 14620
• Start Date: Flexible, based on caregiver availability
• Schedule:
  • Preferred Time: Mornings (flexible)
  • Frequency: Once a week
• Rate: $33.33 per hour

• Assist with walking using a walker
• Guide and support light hand and leg exercises to maintain strength and mobility
• Offer a steady, reassuring presence during each visit
• Ensure a safe environment while assisting with mobility and exercise
• Provide respectful and dignified care at all times

Requirements:

• Male or female caregiver
• Experience with physical therapy, or a licensed/certified physical therapist (preferred but not required)
• Kind, patient, and attentive to individual needs
• Dependable and professional
