Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor required for a leading Tier 1, privately owned main contractor based in North Bristol.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + car allowance + full package

The Company has a c.£800m turnover and is a privately owned Tier 1 main contractor. The business delivers large‑scale new‑build commercial and industrial projects, typically £40m-£80m, with schemes up to £150m. It is well run, financially secure, has excellent leadership, and a strong long‑term pipeline.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will join an established commercial team delivering major new build projects from pre‑construction through to final account. This is a proper Quantity Surveyor role with real responsibility, structure, and support.

• Commercial management as Quantity Surveyor on new build projects
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages
• Valuations, variations, and cost reporting
• Supporting site and project teams commercially
• Final accounts and commercial close‑out

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
• New build experience essential (commercial / industrial preferred)
• Experience working on medium to large‑scale projects
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
