Position: Lunch break Supervisor
Employer: Stanbridge Primary School
Location: Downend, South Gloucestershire
Contract Type: Permanent (Part Time)
Hours: 7 hours 5 minutes per week (11.50 am – 1.15 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only)
Salary: £24,796 FTE (£3,976.48 per month)
Start Date: 19th January 2026

Responsibilities- Be enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and possess a positive 'can‑do' attitude.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills while also capable of using initiative.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Maintain warmth, care, and full commitment to children's safety and wellbeing.
- Consistently maintain a calm approach in interactions with children.
- Support the school's approach to outdoor play, embracing our 'whatever the weather' ethos.
- Act as a vital link between children, lunch break staff, and other school staff.
- Be willing to fully participate in training and professional development.
- Adhere strictly to standards of confidentiality.
Fluency Duty:
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
