Teacher Active is recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant for an Outstanding primary school in Bristol. This 1-year fixed term role is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Criminology, Sociology, or related degrees looking to gain classroom experience before undertaking a PGCE or teacher training.

The Role:

Classroom support across the primary age range

1:1 and small-group interventions

Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs

Working closely with class teachers in a nurturing, inclusive setting

Ideal for:

Graduates considering a PGCE / teacher training

Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Sociology or Criminology graduates

Experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistants

Requirements:

Experience working with children (school, nursery or similar setting)

Patient, proactive and enthusiastic approach
