Roles and Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with differentiated tasks in small groups and 1:1
• Implementing structured routines, visual timetables and sensory breaks
• Encouraging communication and social-interaction skills
• Supporting emotional regulation throughout the school day
• Reflecting on pupil progress and contributing to team reviews

• Real classroom responsibility and interaction, not just observation
• Ability to complete a placement year with purpose
• Work that directly supports pupils with additional needs to access their education

You will join the Axcis Academy CPD programme, with access to online courses and tailored SEND training via The National College to help you build competence and confidence before you graduate.
