** Due to the promotion of our DDSL to DSL at another school within the trust, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
** Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)
** to support our commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children and young people.
As Deputy DSL, you will play a vital role in promoting the welfare of pupils, supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead, and ensuring safeguarding policies and procedures are effectively implemented across the organisation.
** Key Responsibilities*
* • Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in managing safeguarding and child protection concerns.
• Act as a point of contact for staff, children, families, and external agencies.
• Assist with safeguarding referrals and record-keeping, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Promote a culture where safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.
• Support staff training and raise awareness of safeguarding best practices.
• Contribute to safeguarding audits, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
