CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH A LEADING AEROSPACE COMPANY FOR A REPAIR STRESS ENGINEER

• Onsite in Filton - opportunity for 2 days a week from home
• BPSS clearance required

• Join a team responsible for static strength analysis of metallic and composite structures.
• Collaborate with Design and F&DT engineers to assess and validate repairs to damaged aircraft structures.
• Complete justification reports and engineering documentation.
• Develop optimal repairs with skilled designers.
• Perform structural static strength analysis using ISAMI and Mathcad.
• Have an Aircraft Structural Engineering background.
• Possess knowledge of ISAMI and Mathcad.
• Use hand and computer methods for static analysis.
• Experience with composite materials is beneficial.
• Ability to pass a BPSS check.
