Calibration Engineer - Dimensional

Job Description

Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO
9001 and UKAS accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and recognised specifications. A successful candidate will be expected to independently maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing EMS management systems.

• Technical qualification such as degree, HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC, level 3 or above
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Extensive calibration & CMM knowledge
• Knowledge of Windows-based and laboratory automation software
• Experience working within Customer focused environment
• The ability to understand & interpret specifications/technical drawings will be advantageous.
• Ideally a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories
