Environmental Lead – Mobile Fires Platform

• Lead the environmental aspects of the ECD, QRA, and production contracts
• Ensure environmental contractual deliverables meet MoD Policy requirements
• Produce, review, endorse, and recommend acceptance of environmental artefacts according to contract timescales and deliverables
• Identify and analyse environmental impacts and lead the identification and evaluation of risk reduction measures
• Ensure environmental risks are accurately reflected in the contractor environmental case and reduced to BEPO
• Develop, manage, and maintain Environmental Management Systems across a matrix-managed organisation
• Work alongside stakeholders and multiple Delivery Teams on the DT environmental management plan
• Manage environmental acceptance criteria through testing, verification, and validation
• Produce and scrutinise contractor-supplied verification and validation data
• Manage and participate in assurance, audit, and review activities
• Ensure documentation is produced or available for internal and external audits and support the audit process
• Provide environmental recommendations and informed advice to decision makers through Project Environmental Panels
• Provide direct support to ESSR and SRO

• Demonstrable experience delivering the listed environmental tasks and deliverables, or similar
• SC Clearance required
• UK Nationals only
• Knowledge or experience of military land vehicles and associated systems (desirable)

Demonstrates expertise in managing Environmental Management Systems and ensuring compliance with MoD Policy requirements. Capable of leading environmental risk assessments and providing informed recommendations to stakeholders.
