My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy with offices based across the UK, who specialise in low carbon builds and natural flood management, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their team in Bristol.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an innovative team who specialise in low carbon builds, flood risk, hydrology and transport planning. With a wide portfolio of projects, you will have the chance to design flood risk and drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Renewables and Education Sectors for both public and private sector clients, with sustainability and carbon-reduction at the core of innovation.

As a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.

-SuDS Strategies.

-Drainage, attenuation and SuDS design using info drainage and causeway flow.

-Design of sustainable drainage solutions for residential, commercial, healthcare, retail and educational projects.

-Natural flood management.

-Client meetings to discuss project progress, on occasion.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and design using info drainage or causeway flow.

It would be beneficial for applicants to have experience completing drainage design for S104 and S106.

Candidates are required to live locally to work from the office a few days a week.
