This role offers professional development, supervision of staff and involvement in service development.
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist with a passion for stroke rehabilitation and team working to join us and help to develop the provision of specialist communication and swallowing rehab.
Responsibilities- Provide specialist speech and language therapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment to adults with communication and swallowing problems within the adult SLT service and stroke team
- Work independently with the support and supervision of clinical leads
- Work in patients’ homes and in the community
- Work as an integrated member of the SLT team and stroke team
- Work with members of the multidisciplinary stroke team, including nursing, therapists and assistant staff
- Be involved in ongoing training to the multidisciplinary team
- Be part of a wider network of SLTs in Sirona including peer supervision and support
- Receive clinical and operational leadership from the Clinical Specialist SLT for stroke
