We have an exciting opportunity to join Capgemini as a Workplace Engineer in our End User Experience (EUE) department, supporting a broad span of high-profile clients in our vast portfolio. This role is full time at Salisbury If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your role First-line and Second-line software and hardware support (PC’s, laptops, peripherals, printers)
Building, configuring and troubleshoot desktop and laptop systems to corporate specifications

Installing, configuring and maintaining network printers

Installing and supporting remote access connections

Installation of encryption software and carrying out the challenge / response process as required

Close liaison with other internal resolver groups to ensure service delivery meets customer requirements

Working within business and security frameworks (ITIL, JSP, IMM)

Your skills and experience

Full Clean Driving Licence Desktop experience at a second-line level in a complex IT support environment.

Windows 10,11 and Microsoft applications, Office 2016, M365, SharePoint,Outlook M365

Understanding of Thin Client environments.

Knowledge of Citrix and VMWare.

Good understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, systems management and monitoring tools.

Experience in a customer focused environment.

Knowledge and basic experience of VMWare products and virtualisation technologies (Horizon View, VSphere)
