Production Coordinator – Fashion

Years Maternity FTC

We are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to join a fast-paced fashion business, supporting the smooth delivery of products across a global supply network.

This is a hands on role requiring strong critical-path management, confident supplier communication and the ability to manage high volumes of orders and data. You will work cross-functionally to ensure production remains on schedule and products are delivered accurately and efficiently

Key responsibilities:
  • Review, challenge and negotiate production lead times and ex-factory dates where necessary
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with factories and suppliers across a global supply base
  • Manage the production critical path, ensuring buying-calendar deadlines are achieved
  • Monitor factory performance against order specifications, capacity plans and delivery dates
  • Identify potential delays early and create supplier action plans to protect the intake schedule
  • Resolve supplier delays, negotiate penalties where appropriate and escalate significant risks with proactive solutions
  • Work closely with Planning, Sourcing and Quality teams to resolve outstanding production actions
  • Support the weekly buy process and challenge repeat-order lead times to improve agility
  • Ratio orders at size level when required to meet order requirements and optimise stock flow
  • Support the management of supplier contracts, payment terms, debits and discounts
  • Produce clear reporting updates using Excel and high volumes of production data
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal departments and ensure clear cross-functional communication
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and operational efficiency
  • Support wider sourcing, planning and continuous-improvement projects across the business
About you:
  • Ideally degree educated in Fashion, Supply Chain or a related subject
  • Approximately six years’ experience within a fashion brand, retailer or supplier
  • Strong knowledge of fashion production processes, buying cycles and critical-path management
  • Experience working with a global, multi-category supply base
  • Confident managing factory performance, delivery risks and production delays
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and manipulate large volumes of data
  • Highly organised, commercially aware and solutions focused
  • Accurate, detail oriented and comfortable working within a fast-paced, evolving environment

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fashion production professional looking to take ownership of a global supply base and contribute to wider operational and process improvements.
