We are representing a reputable plant fleet management company operating since 1987 with nationwide coverage, in their search for a Mobile Plant Engineer to serve Gloucestershire and the surrounding region.
The Mobile Plant Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a diverse fleet of plant equipment, including dumpers, diggers, telehandlers, trailers, pallet trucks, and pumps.
This Mobile Plant Engineer role offers a challenging, varied workload with opportunities for career progression within a well-established organisation.
- Competitive salary up to £41,000 depending on experience

- Service, inspect, repair, and refurbish plant equipment and attachments
- Diagnose and resolve hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues
- Respond to breakdowns promptly and perform preventative maintenance
- Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety procedures
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and quality standards
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Support the delivery of exceptional service standards to clients Requirements:
- Certified CAP Qualification for Powered Access Equipment
- IPAF Demonstrator Certifications for Categories 1B, 3A, and 3B
- Strong knowledge of powered access equipment and mobile plant machinery
- Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Knowledge of LOLER regulations (training can be provided if necessary)
- Proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
- Own basic toolset-specialist tools will be supplied
