Full-Time | Permanent Salary:£90,000 - £110,000 Accommodation Rotation £160 Net Living Allowance per Week We are currently recruiting for an experienced QA/QC CSA Engineer to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Blyth, United Kingdom. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors, delivering some of the continent's largest and most technically advanced mission-critical projects.
Working closely with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Quality Team, you will ensure all Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Monitor and inspect CSA works to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC procedures for CSA works. Review method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality documentation submitted by subcontractors. Carry out site inspections, audits, and quality checks, issuing NCRs where required. Support construction teams in resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
Liaise with project engineers, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure quality standards are maintained. Inspect materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with approved specifications. Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, and documentation. Support project reporting by updating QA/QC records and quality performance metrics. Assist with project handover by compiling quality dossiers, O&M manuals, and final QA documentation.
Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the project. Requirements Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Previous experience as a QA/QC Engineer on large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) construction methods and quality standards. Experience preparing and managing QA/QC documentation, ITPs, inspections, and NCRs. Data Centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical project experience is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and reporting abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
