Hire is seeking a Toddler Teacher to join our team of caring and creative caregivers.

We are looking for a Toddler Teacher to join our team of caring and creative caregivers. As a toddler teacher you will have the opportunity to impact the growth of young children and guide them through many incredible milestones in their critical first few years. Qualified candidates will possess a passion and joy for early childhood education. A successful toddler teacher will be energetic and enthusiastic.

S/he won't be afraid to get wild and crazy with their kiddos.

• Work with your team of teachers to design lesson plans that facilitate the children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Implement age‑appropriate activities and work as a team player with peers and associates
• Tend to children's basic needs
• Mediate conflict between children
• Track and inform parents of children's progress through written progress reports and daily communications
• Model appropriate behaviors
• Encourage staff/parent communication
• Evaluate and improve the physical environment of the classroom to create opportunities that meet the changing needs of the developing children
• Ensure the center's philosophies and policies are implemented
• Attend all staff meetings, continuing education, and center events
• Maintain state‑mandated staff/student ratio at all times

• CDA or Associates Degree in ECE or a related field
• Clear criminal record
• Prior experience working with young children, preferably within a similar setting
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Warm, approachable disposition
• Excellent problem‑solving skills
• Passion for early childhood development

• First aid certified per CT requirements
• CPR certified per CT requirements
• Medication certified per CT requirements
