Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time
Civita Care Center at Sheridan Woods | Bristol, CT
$30–$33/hour | Full-Time | Benefits Available
Post Rehabilitation Services is seeking a COTA for Civita Care Center at Sheridan Woods. You'll work alongside an Occupational Therapist to help residents practice everyday skills during short-term recovery or longer-term care.
What You'll Do- Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising OT
- Help residents practice self-care tasks such as dressing, grooming, and eating
- Reinforce adaptive techniques and safe ways to complete daily activities
- Observe residents' progress and report changes to the OT
- Document sessions and coordinate with nursing and the rehab team
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k)
- CEU reimbursement, parental leave, and disability insurance
- Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral
- Support from the therapy team and regional leadership
- Active Connecticut COTA license
- Good communication and documentation skills
