At Precision Threaded Products, headquartered in Bristol CT, we manufacture a variety of aerospace fasteners. Due to company growth, we are looking to bring on a CNC Machnist to join our team and will consider individuals with varying levels of experience.

The Position

In this role, the CNC Machinist is expected to:

  • Set-up and operate multi-axis machines
  • Work with blueprints, operation sheets, and other instructions
  • Load material, deburr and inspect parts for conformance to print requirements
  • Communicate with supervisor, engineers, quality and other shop personnel to resolve machining or quality issues
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe working environment
About You
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Must be able to setup, optimize feed & speeds, operate and troubleshoot
  • Familiarity with Mitsubishi & Fanuc controls
  • Experience independently programming CNC Swiss Machine a plus but not required
  • Experience working with Inconel and A-286 materials a plus
  • Experience utilizing standard gauges and inspection techniques including documentation
  • Experience selecting, setting and changing tools
  • Experience with inspection documentation is a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing aerospace threaded components and/or other close tolerance parts is a plus
  • Above all, you have an excellent work ethic and can-do attitude and take pride in the quality of your work and the impact you have within a company
