The Seasonal Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing activities across all owned channels, including site, social and CRM, generating brand content including video, and capturing in park events. This position is also responsible for assisting Sales & Marketing leadership with a variety of marketing duties as they relate to Lake Compounce. The ideal candidate will be a guest-centric creative thinker with excellent writing and branding skills.
The ability to think creatively, meet deadlines and handle pressure during issues management and crisis situations is vital to success.
** We are currently looking for a:
** Lake Compounce - Seasonal Marketing Coordinator
** Roles & Responsibilities:
** The Seasonal Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing activities across all owned channels, including site, social and CRM, generating brand content including video, and capturing in park events. This position is also responsible for assisting Sales & Marketing leadership with a variety of marketing duties as they relate to Lake Compounce. The ideal candidate will be a guest-centric creative thinker with excellent writing and branding skills.
The ability to think creatively, meet deadlines and handle pressure during issues management and crisis situations is vital to success.
** Roles & Responsibilities:
*** Design effective and creative media, including in-park signage and website, email, social, print assets, and other content
* Coordinate content creation and community management for all Lake Compounce social channels.
* Assist with all direct guest communication on social channels for maximum guest satisfaction
* Leverage social media to increase awareness and engage fans
* Brief and work with CRM team to build and deploy email campaigns
* Report on Social and CRM performance to identify trends and opportunities
* Maintain and regularly update the Lake Compounce website, regularly reviewing for accuracy and working with internal departments to generate content
* Lead and complete special projects and initiatives related to marketing, sales, and content creation
* Ensure Park brand and voice consistency across all park channels
* Provide exceptional, friendly guest service on social channels and in-person with a high level of responsiveness and attention to detail
* All other duties assigned by leadership

* Education and Experience:
*** Currently majoring in (or graduated with) with a bachelor's degree in marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related discipline
* At least six months of previous work or internship experience in the areas of content, social media, or digital marketing
* Previous experience creating content for at least one other brand entity
* Previous amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience a plus
** Language:
** Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English;
Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

*** Good photography and videography skills would be a must
* Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with CT Child Labor Laws
