We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Outpatient Neurology team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with a focus on chronic neurological condition management, follow-ups, and preventative care.
You’ll be part of a well-supported practice dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients with a wide range of neurological disorders, including migraines, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, and cognitive conditions.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments in the outpatient clinic
- Diagnose, treat, and manage chronic neurological conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies (MRI, EEG, labs, etc.)
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with supervising neurologists
- Provide patient and family education on disease processes, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
- Coordinate care with other specialties and community resources
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (AGNP, FNP, or ANP) or Physician Assistant
- National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- CT Controlled Substance Registration and DEA
- 1+ year of neurology, primary care, or internal medicine experience preferred (new grads with neurology clinical rotations welcome)
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills
- Monday–Friday daytime schedule (no nights, weekends, or call)
