Overview

Restaurant General Manager at Rackson Restaurants. Full-time role with a focus on overseeing restaurant operations, staff management, customer service, and financial performance to ensure smooth store operations and guest satisfaction.

Location:

Bristol, CT (BK 440, Burger King). Salary: $48,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year.

• Supervises and trains restaurant-level employees, ensuring compliance with brand standards and labor laws.
• Manages staffing levels, recruits talent, and develops internal candidates for management positions.
• Maintains respectful, constructive interactions with employees and ensures high-quality service and food.
• Maintains brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to food safety requirements.
• Analyzes operational and financial performance, identifies trends, and implements action plans for long-term sales growth.
• Ensures all cash handling procedures are followed and monitors financial performance within budget goals.
• Drives operational efficiency, cost control, and profitability while enhancing guest experience.
• Plan and execute shift operations, emphasizing teamwork and cost control.
• Leads with empathy, develops talent for future roles, and fosters a positive work environment.
• Coordinates restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and administrative duties.
• Responds promptly to guest concerns and resolves issues to ensure guest recovery.
• Ensures adherence to brand standards for service, food quality, and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; restaurant management experience.
• Strong communication skills in English;
  Spanish helpful. Proficiency in reading, writing, math, and computer/POS systems.
• Experience as an Assistant Manager or General Manager in a customer service environment with P&L experience.
• Strong leadership, calmness under pressure, and accountability.
• Discretion with confidential information and ability to involve stakeholders as needed.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations.
• Knowledge of food & beverage performance metrics, product specifications, and management systems.
• Technical proficiency in food preparation, production, and delivery; knowledge of food safety procedures.
• Positive attitude, customer-focused mindset, and respect for colleagues.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and/or English.
• Self-motivated, action-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Dependable with prompt and regular attendance; reliable transportation to work and company events.
• Ability to work varied days/times including weekends, evenings, and holidays; able to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• Physical requirements:
  
  lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, reaching, and exposure to temperature variations; must perform job duties safely.
