Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Walmart is expanding its workforce and looking for a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local, and regional team. • 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• Vocational or Technical certification and five years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade (or seven years’ experience in one of these trades)
• One year of experience using intermediate‑level word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Can lift up to 75 lbs.
• Can move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights frequently

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment) and hand, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support stores and store associates and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely
