High-Volume Subaru Dealership in Lancaster County

Full-Time | Monday–Friday Schedule | Great Earning Potential | Busy Shop

WE HAVE THE WORK — NOW WE NEED THE TECH!

Are you an experienced Automotive Technician looking for a busy shop, steady work, and a team that appreciates great technicians?

Our high-volume Subaru dealership is looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our growing Service Department.

We stay busy, which means plenty of repair orders and plenty of opportunity for a technician who is productive, accurate, and takes pride in doing the job right.

If you have at least 3 years of automotive repair experience, your Pennsylvania Inspection & Emissions licenses, and your own tools, we'd love to meet you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately according to dealership and Subaru factory standards.
  • Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
  • Complete all work outlined on repair orders.
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain required parts.
  • Save and properly tag parts when required for warranty repairs or requested by the customer.
  • Thoroughly inspect assigned vehicles and identify additional safety, maintenance, or repair needs.
  • Communicate with Service Advisors immediately when:
  • Additional work is needed
  • Recommended work is not needed
  • A repair cannot be completed within the promised timeframe
  • Clearly document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
  • Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs.
  • Participate in Subaru manufacturer training programs, technical schools, and events.
  • Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins, repair procedures, and vehicle technology.
  • Report equipment or machinery defects and malfunctions to management.
  • Protect customers' vehicles by keeping them clean and notifying the Service Advisor immediately of any damage or change in vehicle condition.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Work as part of a team to keep the Service Department running efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • We're looking for a technician who takes pride in their work and wants to stay busy.
  • You should have:
  • Minimum 3 years of automotive service experience
  • Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions licenses
  • Your own professional tools
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Ability to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player
  • ASE Certification preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions and repair information
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle check, and background check
