Pay: $16.74/hour

Job Type: Evaluation Hire / Temp-to-Hire

The Belt Technician will operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools to fabricate and assemble light- and medium-duty conveyor belts according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate manufacturing machines and production equipment
• Fabricate and assemble conveyor belts
• Complete production orders according to customer specifications
• Read and follow shop orders and working drawings
• Use hand tools and production equipment safely and accurately
• Use tape measures, calipers, scales, and other measuring equipment
• Measure and inspect materials throughout the production process
• Inspect finished conveyor belts and products for quality and accuracy
• Identify defects or inconsistencies and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing work area
• Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures

Qualified candidates should have:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Previous machine operator, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience
• Ability to read measurements and basic working drawings
  
  Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and consistent work history
• Ability to work effectively in a production and manufacturing environment
• Willingness to learn conveyor belt fabrication and manufacturing processes
