In the School of Humanities, Arts and Education, new adjunct faculty are occasionally hired in various disciplines as opportunities arise. Application materials posted to this website will be reviewed when specific positions become available. Subjects can include, but are not limited to:
- Math Education 1-6
- University Clinical Educators for Practicum and Student Teachers
- Literacy Education 1-6
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of a Master's degree in their specific field of interest, experience in K-12 education and evidence of recent teaching effectiveness. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of the most current requirements for teachers from the Rhode Island Department of Education, including standards and initiatives pertinent to your field. At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
