Machine Operator – 2nd Shift (Bristol, RI)

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing site in Bristol, Rhode Island. The position is for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm, Mon‑Fri) with a training period of 8:30 am–5:00 pm for several weeks. An additional hourly shift differential is paid for time worked.

• Setup: mounting tools, assembling auxiliary equipment, preparing raw materials, and configuring the work cell (conveyors, packaging, etc.).
• Startup: pre‑heating tooling, loading appropriate programming, and initiating the production process.
• Operation / Monitoring: ensuring quality and safety standards, adhering to operating procedures, and submitting samples.
• Troubleshooting: emergency shutdowns, identifying and implementing corrective actions, and performing first‑line maintenance.
• Shut‑downs and changeovers as required to meet the production schedule.

• Self‑starter with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Demonstrable experience applying best‑practice safety and continuous improvement methods and systems.
