Roger Williams University seeks a Retail Lead for its Dining Services. The university offers 50 majors and graduate programs across eight schools, with a focus on liberal arts and professional studies.
The Retail Operation Attendant Lead is responsible for providing cash operation services, completing support tasks, and leading a team. The hours for this position may vary, including nights and weekends.
Essential Functions:
- Interacts professionally with employees, customers, and suppliers.
- Performs quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Works effectively as a team leader and independently.
- Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils, and distributes supplies.
- Keeps customer tables, chairs, and counters clean and neat.
- Ensures compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality and respects individual privacy.
- Serves customers efficiently and resolves concerns.
- Stocks, prepares, cooks, and serves food items.
- Accurately reports cash receipts and makes deposits.
- Monitors daily performance and productivity of staff.
- Trains staff and assists with new employee orientation.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of food service experience, with 1+ year of supervisory experience.
- Strong background in food preparation and customer service.
- Ability to interact with diverse customers and use time clock system.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher Education degree.
