Job Responsibilities
  • Warranty Service & Repairs – Diagnose and repair HVAC systems covered under warranty, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and Superior Comfort policies.
  • Customer Interaction – Communicate with homeowners regarding warranty coverage, service expectations, and recommendations for system performance.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics – Identify system issues, assess warranty eligibility, and provide efficient solutions to maintain system functionality.
  • Warranty Claim Processing – Document service visits, submit warranty claims, and maintain detailed records using Service Titan or similar software.
  • Parts & Equipment Management – Coordinate with vendors and the internal team to source warranty‑approved replacement parts and materials.
  • Code Compliance & Safety – Ensure all repairs and services adhere to Rhode Island HVAC regulations and manufacturer standards.
  • Customer Education – Provide homeowners with guidance on system maintenance and warranty coverage to enhance system longevity and performance.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork – Work closely with the service and installation teams to provide seamless warranty support and issue resolution.
  • Record Keeping & Software Use – Utilize Service Titan or similar platforms to track job details, maintain customer records, and process warranty claims.
Qualifications
  • Experience – At least 3 years of HVAC service or repair experience, with knowledge of warranty processes preferred.
  • Licensure – Rhode Island Refrigeration/Journeyman or Master License required.
  • Technical Expertise – Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini‑split systems.
  • Service Software – Experience using Service Titan or similar software for tracking service visits and processing claims is a plus.
  • Customer‑Focused – Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to homeowners in a clear and professional manner.
  • Problem‑Solving Skills – Ability to quickly diagnose system issues and determine warranty eligibility.
  • Valid Driver’s License – Clean driving record required.
  • Attention to Detail – Strong documentation and organizational skills for accurate warranty claim processing.
  • Physical Requirements – Ability to lift heavy equipment, tools, and materials as needed.
