Associate Optometrist

Envision Eye Care seeks a motivated Associate Optometrist to join our team starting the summer of 2026 at our Bristol, VA location. This role prioritizes advanced care, mentorship, and growth opportunities.

Compensation: Guaranteed base salary of $125,000–$150,000, depending on schedule and number of days worked, with additional earning potential as production increases.

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams, provide medical optometry services, co‑manage patient care, fit contact lenses (including specialty/scleral lenses), and offer dry‑eye treatment.
• Participate in marketing and patient‑education initiatives such as screen‑time relief, dry‑eye awareness, and social media outreach.
• Collaborate with optical, support staff, and leadership to enhance the practice and maintain a patient‑first culture.
• Receive mentorship, structured onboarding, and quarterly reviews to support your professional development.

• Doctor of Optometry degree.
• Experience in eye care, contact lens fitting, visual field testing, and ocular disease management.
• Proficiency in pre‑testing, refraction, eye exams, diabetic retinopathy management, and optomap imaging.
• Knowledge of cataract evaluation, optical coherence tomography, patient recall systems, and vision therapy.
• Ability to provide postoperative care, assess visual acuity, and collaborate with ophthalmologists.
