We manufacture a wide range of molded plastic products and complete product assembly to meet your specific design requirements.
The responsibility of the Trim/ Assembly is to produce various products to efficiency and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure that all necessary information and tools required for each job are in place before work begins.
- Pull and review Work Instructions prior to starting a job.
- Bundles product properly after trimming and move to required staging location.
- Complete all assigned projects by the due date.
- Review production priorities.
- Must meet or exceed all training requirements including those related to quality standards and attend scheduled shift meetings or other meetings required.
- Meets or exceeds production targets.
- Produces trimmed products using various methods designated for the job. These methods include, but not limited to:
- Use of hand and power tools.
- Inspects product for conformance to quality standards.
Skills and Abilities
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure and calipers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Title Vac Trim/Assembly FLSA Status Non-Exempt
- Department Manufacturing/Operations Platform Roto Molding
- Reports To Production Supervisor Grade
- Able to work in a hot humid environment for extended periods of time.
- This job is in a typical manufacturing environment, to include, but not limited to:
- Ovens and rotating tools
- Forklifts and other moving machinery
- Loud work environment
- Must be able to remain stationary with intermediate walking throughout the shift. Frequently lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds alone and parts more than 50 pounds with assistance and must be able to transport these up to 20 feet.
- Frequently positions self to maneuver around the parts, materials, and molds. Must be able to operate the hand and tools and write legible.
