Job Details:

• Work eitherorschedule with guaranteed hours

• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per schedule period

• No call responsibilities

• Float to PCU with some possible medical-surgical when needed

• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends

• Care for adult patients in 38-bed ICU unit

• 12 hours of non-billable orientation required

• 1 year of nursing experience required

• Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale

• Epic charting system experience preferred

• Must live 100 miles from facility

• First time travelers accepted

• General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs

• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education

• Work with specialized equipment including balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella devices, temporary pacemakers, EVDs, and CRRT

• Manage ventilated patients, arterial lines, central lines, vasoactive drips, and cardiac medications

• Hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty if census decreases

• Must complete drug testdays prior to start date

• Facial hair must be trimmed for fit testing per CDC guidelines

• Complete 4-5 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
