- Travel to assigned retail stores to conduct visits within your territory
- Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products (TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, phones)
- Partner with team members on 2–3 person projects such as appliance or TV installs
- Build and maintain positive in‑store relationships
- Complete assignments assigned by your BDS Manager
- Submit reports on time from your personal mobile device
- Schedule and complete work per BDS Standards and Expectations (provided during onboarding)
- Receive materials at home or pick up at Fed Ex and transport to retail locations
- Complete additional tasks as directed by management
Experience and
Education:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Previous merchandising, customer service, and/or retail experience preferred
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
- Proficiency with a personal Android or Apple device (Smartphone/Tablet) with GPS for photo capture, reporting, and document reference
- Own a basic toolkit (reimbursement after probation). Toolkit includes a multi‑screwdriver, torx security bit set, hammer, cordless drill, allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle‑nose pliers, precision wire cutters, crescent wrench, easy‑off putty knife, microfiber cleaning cloth, and goo‑gone.
- Complete paid BDS online training courses within required timelines
- Minimum age 18 and legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Flexible availability Monday – Friday, early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours
- Minimum 20 hours per week
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to travel within a 60‑mile radius; BDS pays drive time and mileage between store locations
Required to perform the essential functions of this job: regularly stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk and/or hear, and drive. Must regularly lift and carry 40+ pounds, climb ladders up to 10 feet, and may need to complete certification to use moving equipment.
Important InformationThe pay range is based on experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. Final compensation is determined during the interview process and complies with applicable wage laws.
