Bedfordshire Join a close-knit, general practice accountancy firm in Hertfordshire as an Accounts Senior. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nearly qualified or fully qualified accountant to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio and contribute meaningfully to a small, dynamic team. Day-to-day of the role:
Manage a portfolio of approximately 40 clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Prepare personal and corporate tax returns. Handle bookkeeping and VAT returns. Liaise directly with clients and HMRC. Use systems including Xero, Sage, Quick Books, Cashflow, and Tax Calc. Work collaboratively with a team of four in an office-based environment. Qualifications:

ACA/ACCA nearly qualified or fully qualified. Experience working in a general practice setting. Strong understanding of tax and accounting for various business structures. Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client relationships. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Benefits:
