Senior Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger)

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger) to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong sales ledger or accounts receivable experience who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering an accurate, efficient and customer‑focused service.

• Posting and allocating cash receipts accurately against customer accounts.
• Reconciling transactions and investigating any discrepancies.
• Managing the Sales Ledger inbox and responding promptly to customer and stakeholder queries.
• Working closely with Management Accountants and operational teams to resolve account issues.
• Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and support continuous improvement across the Sales Ledger function.

You’ll have previous sales ledger or accounts receivable experience, excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You’ll be confident using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment. You’ll also have excellent communication skills, enjoy working collaboratively and be able to work independently using your own initiative.
