Interim Financial Controller

A global property business is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support a complex international finance function during a period of growth and transformation. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a technically strong accountant with proven experience overseeing monthly reporting, group consolidations, and financial control across a large international structure. As an Interim Financial Controller, you will:
Lead the month-end close and delivery of high-quality management reporting to tight deadlines. Oversee the consolidation of financial results across a large multi-entity, multi-currency group structure. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across more than 40 legal entities. Review and enhance internal controls, processes, and governance frameworks. Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business. Manage and develop a team of four finance professionals.

Support technical accounting matters and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards. Drive continuous improvements in reporting, controls, and finance operations. Requirements: ACA qualified, ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 accounting firm. Financial Controller background within a complex, international organisation. Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations. Team management experience. High attention to detail. Internal controls experience.
