Up to 50,000 DOEOur client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in central Bristol, is looking to strengthen its audit team with the addition of an Audit Senior / Semi Senior.

This opportunity would suit someone with UK accountancy practice experience and a strong audit background who is looking to join a supportive firm offering exposure to a specialist client portfolio and excellent long-term career opportunities. The firm is open to both part-qualified and fully qualified candidates who are looking to continue developing their career within audit and accounts.

The Role As part of the team, you will be involved in a varied role, including:

Leading and assisting on audit assignments from planning through to completion

Preparing audit fieldwork and supporting documentation

Working closely with managers and partners to deliver audits efficiently and to a high standard

Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients

Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the audit process

Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate

Working across a specialist and varied client portfolio

You will gain exposure to a broad range of assignments, allowing you to further strengthen both your technical expertise and client-facing skills.

About You Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment

Strong audit experience gained within practice is essentialACA / ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience candidates will be considered

Experience leading or supporting audits from planning through to completion

Strong communication and organisational skillsA proactive approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
