Email: nic.cowleyA progressive and client-focused accountancy practice in Bristol is looking to appoint a Tax Consultant to support its expanding client base.
This role offers a varied workload, working with entrepreneurs, private individuals, family-owned businesses and growing companies across a broad range of sectors.
This opportunity would suit either an experienced Tax Senior looking to step up or an established Tax Manager seeking a fresh challenge within a modern and collaborative practice environment.
Your new role Managing tax affairs for a portfolio of business and private clients.
Supporting company directors and business owners with tax-efficient remuneration planning.
Preparing and reviewing complex tax submissions and disclosures.
Assisting clients with business acquisitions, disposals and restructuring projects.
Handling correspondence and negotiations with HMRC.Collaborating with the accounts team to identify tax planning opportunities.
Conducting technical research and preparing client recommendations.
Supporting junior members of the tax department through coaching and training.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changing tax legislation and best practice.
What you'll need to succeedATT, ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience).Strong background working within an accountancy practice or tax consultancy environment.
Sound understanding of UK taxation principles.
Experience dealing directly with clients and managing relationships.
Ability to interpret technical tax matters and communicate them clearly.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service.
