This is a senior opportunity for a VAT specialist with strong technical expertise and commercial awareness. You'll advise a varied client portfolio on complex indirect tax matters, develop client relationships, generate new business and play a key role in the continued growth of the VAT team.

Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of VAT and indirect tax advisory services

Advise clients on complex VAT transactions and technical issues

Provide specialist advice on land and property, partial exemption and international VATAdvise charities and not-for-profit organisations on VAT matters

Act as a senior point of contact for clients, Partners and colleagues

Build and develop strong client relationships

Manage and grow your own VAT portfolio

Identify new business opportunities through networking and referrals

Support and develop junior VAT professionals

Work collaboratively with wider Tax and Advisory teams

Keep up to date with VAT legislation, HMRC guidance and industry developments

Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the VAT practice

About You Significant experience in VAT and indirect taxation

Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of VAT matters

Previous experience within an accountancy or professional services environment

Experience advising on property, partial exemption, international VAT and complex transactions

Strong client relationship and advisory skills

Commercially minded with proven business development and networking ability

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Leadership and mentoring experience

Self-motivated, proactive and commercially focused
