This is a varied accounts and business advisory role, working with a diverse portfolio of business and individual clients. The role is ideal for an experienced Accounts Senior or Practice Accountant looking for greater responsibility, client exposure and career progression.

Key Responsibilities Prepare year-end statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio Prepare management accounts, forecasts and financial projections Prepare personal and corporation tax computations Prepare VAT returns Complete bookkeeping and bank reconciliations Analyse financial information and provide commercial insight Manage jobs against budgets and deadlines Liaise directly with clients and internal teams Identify technical issues and provide practical solutions Supervise, support and mentor junior team members About You AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or studying Previous accountancy practice experience Strong accounts preparation experience Good knowledge of UK accounts, tax and VAT Experience using accounting and tax software Strong Excel skills Excellent communication and client relationship skills Organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Proactive, professional and commercially aware Confident working independently and as part of a team What's on Offer Full-time or part-time working options Hybrid and flexible working Varied SME and individual client portfolio Accounts, tax, VAT and advisory exposure Opportunity to supervise and develop junior staff Professional training and development Clear career progression Supportive and collaborative team environment Competitive salary and benefits Location Bristol , commutable from Bath, Keynsham, Portishead, Clevedon, Weston-super-Mare, Yate, Thornbury and surrounding areas .
